Sinfully Noble Dry Muscadine Wine

$19.99

Often mistaken for a grape, the muscadine is the premiere fruit of the Deep South and holds a long and storied past in the region's development. Records indicate that muscadine was first crafted into wine in St. Augustine, Florida during the mid 1400s and was one of the first wines available in New Orleans. Every part of the Deep South has muscadine or scuppernong (the white cousin of the purple muscadine, usually found around the Eastern coastal states of the American South.)  Our Sinfully Noble Muscadine Wines are expertly crafted from the Noble line, one of only two lines of muscadine which produce flowers & fruits by themselves. The Noble line produces the best berries for wine. Our Dry Muscadine is a very rare wine (only produced in limited quantities once a year!).  With all the characteristics of an exceptional dry sherry, port, or sack, this wonderful wine has all the flavors of the berry, including a deeply rich smokiness that makes this wine a perfect accompaniment to steaks, meat dishes with heavy sauces, or as a wonderful finish to a fine meal with hard cheeses or with a good cigar! 750ml bottles.
